Mr Sergei Mitnovetski is a Melbourne based Cardiothoracic Surgeon with an extensive experience gained at Monash Medical Centre, St. Vincent’s, Austin, The Alfred and Royal Children’s Hospitals (Melbourne, Australia), John Hunter Hospital (Newcastle, Australia), Bristol Heart Institute (Bristol Royal Infirmary, United Kingdom), Toronto General Hospital (Canada), The Townsville Hospital and Gold Coast University Hospital (Queensland, Australia).
Mr Mitnovetski performs cardiac and thoracic surgical operations and, in the past, he was heavily involved in transplantation surgery/ECMO support and congenital cardiac surgery. He is expert in using minimally invasive techniques (VATS) to treat conditions associated with lung cancer.

Dr Ashwin Subramaniam is an Intensivist and General Physician with special interests in perioperative patient care. After completing his physician training at Eastern Health, he has worked at The Alfred Hospital, Austin Health and Peninsula Health. This broad exposure has consolidated his experience before he commenced employment as a specialist in Peninsula Health Intensive Care Unit. He is the Director of the Acute Admission and Assessment Unit (AAA) for Peninsula Health, Frankston, and the founding director of the Intensive Care Unit at The Bays Hospital.

Dr Yoshi Uda MBBS

In addition to providing anaesthesia for a wide variety of surgical specialties, Yoshi has a special interest and ongoing involvement in anaesthetic care for medically complex patients undergoing cardiothoracic surgery, major orthopaedic surgery, bariatric surgery and emergency surgery, both in public and private sectors. He is also a researcher and teacher of ultrasound-guided regional anaesthesia techniques, which improve patient comfort after surgery and reduce the requirement for other forms of pain killers.

Multidisciplinary Thoracic Conference
Patient’s clinical history, pathology, imaging, and diagnostic studies are reviewed fortnightly by the multidisciplinary team to coordinate evaluation and treatment strategies.
